I would appreciate any ideas as to what type of birthday gift would suit a 30-something year old man who is very, very special to me.

I get him clothing every year, and yes, he needs the clothing so he likes getting sweaters and what not. But I wanted to get him something different this time. Any help would be appreciated =]

Thank you in advance! <3

Please note: My budget is roughly $150.00 to $200.00

You looking for something different this time.. ok .. does he like music.. if he likes music then you can probably gift him an ipod … its cool and stylish.. and trust me men are gadgets oriented .. all the best..

I think it was Access Hollywood or some sort of celebrity news show that had their "G's list for top holiday gift ideas". It featured the dog apparel Little Lily and had some cute puppies playing. I would like to know what kind the pure white puppy was. The hosts is named Giavanni? or something like that (female) but when I click on the Access Hollywood site, her name is not listed there? If anybody can help me I would kindly appreciate it.

I didn't see the commerical, but I'm asumming since it was pure white it was either:
-West Highland Terrier
-Maltese
Google them and see if they look like the puppy.

All these teenagers conjuring up extensive lists of namebrand items and complaining when their Christmas loot didn't include every last thing they lusted for – it got me thinking. I know parents and immediate family members don't expect a gift when kids are young, but at what point is it just considered immature and thoughtless to expect hefty gifts without giving to others in return?

Merry Christmas, everyone!!
I didn't mean every last teenager acts this way, just to clarify.

I started giving christmas presents when i was officially a teen, a few christmases ago. I don't buy wicked expensive ones, but special, little things that people always enjoy, like soap or something for a collection they have.

I have 6 best friends to shop for. Does anyone have any inexpensive gift ideas? My budget is about $3.00 a person (not including tax). Can you please include links? Thanks!
We're 12, if that helps.

for each friend buy them a small lotion, a candy cane, and give them a pic of the two of you together, with a special note in it all.

this year im using part of my paycheck to give all my friends a little bit of Christmas candy (u can never have to much candy!), and especially a candy cane with a special note on it about our friendship!

I am teaching a group of students a lesson on Christmas in Mexico. From what I have read about Christmas in Mexico, Christmas is still really celebrating Christ's birth! I love that! In the United States, so much emphasis is given to gift-giving from Santa. Do children in Mexico expect lots of gifts like in the USA? Are the gifts big and elaborate or small and meaningful?

I have family that lives in Mexico….Actually, the schools there give out a lunch sack filled with apples, oranges, and nuts to each child. Also, when I moved to texas 5 miles away from the Mexico border I was in High School and our school in the United States did this same thing…I guess fruit baskets are a common gift in Mexico.

There will only be about 15 guests, all girls. I want to get a gift for everyone who comes, and I need something creative and relatively inexpensive.

I don't want to do anything generic like candy in a baby bottle or anything like that. Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you know how the mother to-be intends to decorate her nursery? You could try to choose something that fits in with the nursery "theme."

Everyone runs a little bit different. I know of some who do it at midnight on Christmas Eve (when Christmas technically starts), some do it on Christmas morning, and I know some who do it on Christmas evening.

When does your family do gifts together?

On Christmas eve morning we each open one present then the whole family gets together at my sisters house for Christmas eve dinner and we open presents there then we visit my husband's family and open a couple gifts then on Chrismas morning we open a bunch of gifts then we go to our church and open some gifts after the play then we stop by my mother in law's and open presents and finally we open presents at my mothers house after Christmas dinner.
