I am looking for a creative gift I can send to them. They are very close friends. They have two young children too! Any ideas???

How about sending them a cool, fresh fruit bouquet from Edible Arrangements. Check out www.ediblearrangements.com

if they like to entertain then send them a dish set that has a beachy feel. they could put it to great use. Go along with the beachy theme too, find things that you know they would like and could be greatly used…like a hammock or something. the possibilities are endless, and since they are close friends they will probably like whatever you give them!! good luck♥

Because sand is a chronic problem at the beach, I would suggest an outdoor mat that is the sand catching kind (sort of like a honeycomb made of soft rubber – not those hard rubber industrial kind).

If they have the money to buy a vacation home at the beach they don't need anything. Maybe something they could use someday like one of those CPR breathing masks for respirating children in case one of the kids falls in the water.

A decorative hose reel. I agree with the other poster regarding sand being an issue. Get them something that they can use to hose down their legs and feet before entering the house.

A photo album from Things Remembered or red envelope with an engraved label like Beach House 2007
I think it would be cool to keep a seperate family album at the Beach house.

They have everything! Chocolate, Candy, Flowers, Personalized Items.
I'd make gift baskets. For them gourmet chocolate shaped like shells, maybe a lobster gram. For the kids shovel and pales filled with goodys.
