There are other great ideas for baby shower party favors that are inexpensive and not generic. There are photo bookmarks, glass photo coasters, bath soaks, and plantable wildflower seeds. I'm planning to give my guests a gift that is related to my theme. Since I'm doing an animal safari theme (because that's similar to the nursery theme)….we plan to give out little bags of animal cookies with a thank you card…I also plan to give something else, not quite sure what, but I've got time to think since mine is in June (but I also plan on having 30 + guests).
But anyways, my point is that you could give out little gifts that fit in with the baby shower theme. With 15 guests you can do a little more

bath salts are nice... you can make them yourself. I did blue bath salts for a shower I threw (I found the "recipe" to make them online and found some neat containers at orientaltrading.com Everyone loved them!

We made cookies in the shapes of a bottle, rocking horse, and carriage, then decorated them and put them in cute little bags with the recipe attatched. It was fairly inexpensive and the guests sure did enjoy them. Another idea is to get seed packets(you can find them cheap at Walmart) and attatch a poem to them. "Plant these seeds and watch them bloom, just like the baby who will be here soon"

15 people you can be creative and do something nice.

Check out bath and body works sales- I have gotten some stuff there cheap on the clearance rack for gifts.

My girls gave out Nail Polish- OPI brand for my bridal shower which was a huge hit! You could do blue

Even check out Marshall and outlet stores- I bet you could find 15 of something that's very nice on sale- like little boxes or gift sets or journeys.

I have gotten plants too which is nice- but they always die on me!

I just had mine on Sunday and we planted a pansy in a small terracotta pot, wrapped the pot in cellophane, tied with ribbons and attached a little card that I made on the computer. Everyone got one to take home. They were a huge hit and cost about $2.50 a piece to make and decorated our window sills in the kitchen for the shower.
One of my friends planted hers in her garden and said she'd think of us everytime she looked at it. How sweet! Congrats on your baby!! =0)

Make a CD with all baby related songs (i.e. John Lennon's "Beautiful Boy", etc). Include a photo of the baby's ultrasound photo on the cover or on the CD label.

You can also stuff pretty mesh sacks full of poupouri, add a small name card and a cute baby charm (Michael's has really cute ones) to each. Or, you can do the same but stuff the bags with wild flower seeds instead of poupouri.

My girlfriend's mom gave out small (wallet sized) picture frames (you can spend anywhere from $1 to $5 each) and decorated them with the babies name. And then, sent out a wallet sized hospital picture. You can buy magnetic frames or go to walmart and buy the cheap wooden frames and use the tiny bottles of "puffy" paint to write your baby's name on them.
