if you mean seminary as in becomign a preist…i would suggest the electronic bible..it looks like an electronic organizer or translator….but it's got all the verses and stuff and i believe it's seachable hands down best gift to get if i was a preist it's like 45 bucks ro about 100 check it out…at least it's useful…

Money or gift cards are always appreciated. A bible commentary or the bible on CD (my husband has one of these and it has translations of the bible from King James, NRS, the Message Bible etc…. but I can't remember the program) would be a great gift idea if he doesn't have one already but you'll want to make sure it's the one he wants. Depending on his denomination he might like some shirts with the priest collars. One last thought. He might like a portable communication kit and/or anointing kit for visiting the sick, homebound etc… I wish my brain wasn't so tired or I'm sure I could think of more. Best of luck to your brother!

try bible commentaries, or different bible translations. even a gift card to a book store. in seminary he'll have to study greek and hebrew, so a (electronic) translator would be cool. (spanish/english is most common, but I'm sure others should be available too.)

A gift card to his favorite restaurant would be a nice gift for him and his wife since it does not take up any room. Another fun idea would be a subscription for Blockbuster Online or Netflix. You can pick one month or as many as you can afford. He can pick the movies he ants to see and they are delivered to his home.

A gift card to a place like Target. That way he can get what he needs or save it for a time when money is tight. You also could get him one of those blank journals. The last time I was in Barnes and Nobles, I saw a lot of really nice ones and ones that would be appropriate.
